How it Works

All too often we hear people say that they want to print a book, but they don't know how.

So here it is; the 6 point process of printing a book with BPUK:

How it works!

1.  Request An Instant Quote.

The first step of your book printing journey is to simply request a free instant quote, with no commitment to purchase. We’ll ask for your paper thickness, binding, colour, and more. If you’re unsure of what to choose then we have some great tools on our website, including a Spine Calculator. You can also request multiple quotes to compare options.

At Book Printing UK we believe a quotation shouldn’t just be a number. Instead, we want to help you through the process and provide some personal reassurance. That’s why each quotation will be assigned it’s own unique account manager. At the touch of a button, a customer can have any question answered. This feature will come into effect in the coming days, alongside the release of our brand new quote calculator.

2.  Place an Order

Happy with your quote and finished your writing? Great! – Then it’s now time to order! Just log in to your Book Printing UK account, double check the details on your quote and then click ‘place your order’.

If you prefer, you can also contact your account manager who will be happy to place the order for you. After your order has been placed, we will send you email confirmation.

3.  Approve Proof

We understand that it’s important for you to be happy with what your book looks like before printing all your copies. That’s why we offer either a printed proof or digital proof of your book to review.

This provides you the chance to approve it’s appearance before continuing with printing. We recommend choosing a printed proof as there’s nothing like it! Once happy, you’ll need to log in to your account and click ‘approve’.

4. Print Order

The turnaround times for printing will be unique to your book and the specifications you choose. Rest assured, we take expert care with your books to ensure they are all printed to the required specifications.

We set the standard for digital printing with our four printers; two colour, and two black and white. We have also installed a brand new printer (Canon VarioPrint i300), which will help us become even more productive and versatile. Once printed, your books then go through the binding process, followed by any additions you may have ordered like coils and ribbons.

5. Delivery

For delivery, we package your books securely in boxes before transportation with our couriers Parcelforce. Parcelforce deliver the next day after dispatch; supplying customers with a one hour delivery slot. The culmination of years worth of hard work is just hours away.

Once delivered, you then have the opportunity to share and tag us with a picture/video of your new books through our social channels. This will grant you 5% off your next order. All is explained on a business leaflet included with your order. What better way to save a bit of money than highlighting your achievement to the world.

6. Re-Order
